Located halfway between Chicago and Detroit, the Greater Kalamazoo, Michigan area has a population of close to 200,000 people. There is a large collegiate student population from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and Davenport University. The city of Kalamazoo is home to several large employers, a few of which are Stryker, Pfizer, and Zoetis. There are also two major hospitals, Borgess Health and Bronson Healthcare, making this a great area for those who are working in the healthcare field.
